| * THERMOELECTRICAL PELTIER COOLERS (TEC)
The Thermoelectric Module is the heart of the wine cabinet's cooling system and was discovered
by Peltier in 1834. Today, thanks to the progress in the field of semiconductors,
they are solidly built in a coin size. The semiconductors are manufactured using telluride
and bismuth, type P or N, respectively, (good electricity conductors and poor heat conductors),
thus making it easier for heat to transfer from the cold side to the hot side due to the effect of
a continuous current, in our case 3.3. & 5 amps.
* WINE CABINET'S COOLING SYSTEM
The small size explains the high technology required to obtain the refrigeration at a negligible cost.
The cooling system has incorporated to the module: thermostats, sensors, a potentiometer...
ADVANTAGES:
-
Low energy consumption
Find out the consumption of other refrigerated wine cabinets, especially if they are
intended for use in restaurants, and remember that we operate at 12/24 volts whilst
other manufacturers operate at 220 volts.
-
Long-lasting performance since they are solid and have a life of approximately
20 years.
-
Absence of vibrations, which are harmful for the preservation of the wine.
Systems based on compressors not only produce vibrations but also have a considerable energy
consumption.
-
They do not dry out the air and therefore do not reduce the level of humidity.
-
Continuous cooling at the required temperature.
-
Digital Control: Just set the target temperature and enjoy of your wine.
* MAINTENANCE/REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF THE WINE CABINET
The maintenance cost is as little as 20 euros/6-7 years (equivalent to the cost
of the small fan for heat dissipation). Nothing to do with other systems such as the
Absorption system which requires regular replacement of the cooling liquid.
Repair costs are very low and simple. In other systems repairs are complex
and in many cases entails the purchase of a new one. The assembly/dismantling of the cooling
system in the wine cabinet only takes a few minutes.
* OAK WINE CABINET (hand-crafted)
The walls, including the door, are made of oak + isolation
+ oak. Our insulating material is outstanding, providing thermal and acoustic fireproof insulation.
Solid oak shelves and OAK's holing system.These are designed in such a manner
that:
- The bottles do not touch each other (individual bottle racks) and each bottle can be taken out
without touching the other bottles.
- The bottles have a slight inclination of 5% allowing the sediments of the oldest wines to deposit
at the bottom of the bottle and permitting the visibility of the bottles.
- They allow for the slow and continuous circulation of air in the wine cabinet and as a result the
temperature and humidity levels are consistent.
- The last row of shelves in the wine cabinet is for storing bottles of special size and forms.
The exclusive holing system of our wine racks is patented and cannot be found
in any other refrigerated wine cabinet.
* COLOURS:
Our wine cabinets have the folowing main finishes:
If you would like another colour, send us a sample of the colour you desire so that we can
give the wine cabinet this colour before varnishing.
Wenge colour
|
Rosewood colour
|
In all cases, unless another wood should be requested, the wood used for the wine cabinet is oak.
* WINE CABINET CUSTOMIZATION:
Any motif, emblem... will be handcarved on the cabinet's solid oak door(s).
